Diane -
Funny you should ask: all three vendors are making presentations next week
at a meeting of MINITEX, a Minnesota library consortium. MINITEX wants
clients there as well, and I'm representing Serials Solutions. I'll send
you a Power Point presentation I put together when I get into work later.
Also, check out SerSol's website; they have very good samples of their
reports, some sample implementations: www.serialssolutions.com
I can also send you a couple of articles I did in Against the Grain last
year about SerSol.
More later -

I'd like some help from Serialst members (especially those at academic
libraries at colleges with 3000 or less students) as I try to define the
issues/questions that need to be addressed in considering the purchase
of SerialsSolutions, TDNet, JournalWebCite or a similar system for a
consortium of small academic libraries (each college has under 2500
students). If you've purchased one of these three systems or another
similar one, I'd like to know what issues your library found most useful
in making the decision to purchase - or not to purchase - one or another
of these systems. Also, are there any questions you wish you had asked
before you made the purchase or issues/concerns that have arisen since
the purchase that need to be addressed and perhaps should have been
addressed during the decision-making process? And, finally, though I
have been watching some of the dialog on Serialst over the last month or
so regarding these three systems, I would also appreciate any other
comments you might be willing to share on why you chose one system over
another and how satisfied you are with the one you chose. Thanks in
advance for your
help! Di
