Dear Colleagues,

I am happy to announce the availability of the third course in the
Serials Cataloging Cooperative Training Program (SCCTP): Electronic
Serials Cataloging Workshop. The one-day course, designed by Les
Hawkins (LC) and Steve Shadle (University of Washington), focuses on the
cataloging of remote access or online serials. It does not cover
CD-ROMs or integrating resources. The course covers the basics of
creating cataloging records, as well as options for providing other
types of access, such as CONSER's single record approach. It also
covers the issues associated with aggregator records and includes
problem solving and discussion.

The course is available from LC's Cataloging Distribution Service as
PDF files and is priced according to the number of copies that will be
made. The pricing structure is as follows:

1-4 copies $ 70
5-10 copies $100
11-30 copies $200
31-50 copies $300
51-100 copies $600
100+ copies $1,000
