Colleagues,
We are having a discrepancy with a vendor.  I would like to pose the
question as to when a title is "renewed"?  In this case, they are
saying
the title was renewed via a conversation with their sales person where
I
even explained to him that this was a title renewed through our
vendor.
In
the interim time period, before we paid anyone (publisher or agent)  -
we
decided to cancel this title.  So... was the title actually renewed?
They
are declaring it was and are demanding payment in full for a product
that
we do not want.  I would love to hear others' opinion about what
constitutes  a valid renewal.
