We follow the MARC format for holdings in both summary
holdings statement as well as checkin caption and
pattern that the checkin information will have
consistent presentation as the summary holdings
statement when displays in the OPAC. (III system)
In addition, Following the MARC holdings format can
automate the predictive checkin if your system
implements it.
