Please check your periodical receipts for Young Children, Sept. 2001,
v.56:5, then refer to the message below (following the background
information) from Linda Huff of the NAEYC.
Some background on the situation: During the course of claiming I found we
were missing v.56:5. I checked the OPACs of a number of other libraries
(among them Arizona State U. [ASU West], U. of Arizona [Main], Colorado
State U., U. of Colorado [Auraria Lib.], U. of S.Maine [Gorham], U. of
Maine at Farmington, U. of New Mexico, U. of Washington [Bothell,
Suzzallo]) and found that v.56:5 was consistently missing, though
subsequent issues had been received. I sent a query to the NAEYC and
received a reply from Ms. Huff. Her message requested that I provide her
with the addresses of those subscribers with missing issues. Well, of
course I would dearly love to provide that service but would hate to
deprive anyone else the experience of overwhelming joy we know as
claiming. So, I will leave it up to those fortunate individuals with
missing issues to make the appropriate arrangements with Ms. Huff.

Hello:
I am writing from the Rod Library at the University of Northern Iowa
regarding the publication "Young Children." We did not receive a Sept.
2002 (v.56:5) issue. From looking at the online catalogs of several
universities, it appears this issue has not been received by a number of
libraries. Do you have any information regarding the status of this issue?
Any information you can provide would be appreciated.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
