Harvard Business Review Revisited Jeanette Skwor 16 Jan 2002 20:06 UTC

Just a quick update & "Hallelujah" per our recent discussion on problems
with Harvard Business Review subscriptions.

In a nutshell, I (and various others) was being told that a subscription
renewal was for a certain number of issues (that they were publishing at the
time) and not for a full year. My renewals were being cut off, and my
claims were being refused.

A lot of people shared similar experiences and ideas here. I followed
through with emails to the Circulation Manager (and copied her on a posting
to Serialst), and finally, letters to the top Circulation person I found in
the magazine hierarchy - the Circulation Fulfillment Manager - and the top
Editor.

Shortly after the first round of emails, I received a note saying our 2002
subscription was being "extended" through Dec. 2002. In today's mail I
received the last of our claimed issues.

As I said earlier, Hallelujah! The lesson for today is, when you're in the
right, don't give up.

Thanks for the help and moral support I received here; I do appreciate each
and every one of you.
