Is anyone else having trouble receiving their subscription to Jane's
Defence Weekly? We are missing almost every issue since October 2001. We
also had to claim most of Sept. 2001. I asked them, through our agent,
SwetsBlackwell, to check that they are printing up the proper mailing label
and actually sending the issue from their press, etc. They traced the order
and confirmed that it was being sent to us every week and that they have
the correct address. They have suggested that we contact the post office
because "the problem must be on your end." Well, there's really nothing the
USPS can do to trace a piece of second class mail coming into the country
from the UK. So I haven't tried that route. Finally I agreed to have them
mail the issues to their office in Virginia, just across the river from us.
And then that office would mail it to us. This was supposed to begin with
the Dec. 12 issue. So far nothing has come. Calls to that office are
returned after the close of business, but never during the day. At 4:45pm
today I have yet to hear back from the follow-up message I left at 10:30am.

So I'm wondering if this is a widespread problem with US subscriptions to
Jane's Defence Weekly or limited to us.

Thanks.
