Hi again all!

The question about the late delivery of NATURE made me wonder: has any
other library had spotty delivery of ADVERTISING AGE since 9-11. We have
received less than half our issues since then, and also have not received
replacements despite notifying EBSCO and placing claims two months in a
row.

Just wondered if there were delivery problems across the board on this
title due to the WTC attack and subsequent mail delivery problems, or if
we should take this personally...

We missed 5 issues of Advertising Age in a row, right after 9-11, we
claimed w/Ebsco but still have not received them- All issues after those 5
have come on time.-Perhaps it's a Mid-East thing? -Maggie (in DE)

Our library also has had a very hard time with this title, going all the
way back to last March, so it has little to do with the WTC attack. We
finally discovered that the local delivery people were banding all issues
that were destined for our delivery area together, and when our particular
address was showing on top, we received everyone else's issues (about 5
all together). I always forwarded the other issues according to the
subscription labels, but obviously if the other neighborhood subscribers
received our issues banded in with theirs, we seldom got ours. I took
this up with both EBSCO and directly with Advertising Age, who promised to
take it up with the carrier and to send us our missing issues. Delivery
has improved, but we've never received our missing issues. We are
depending on access to this title in some of our electronic databases to
cover our gaps.
