I have an odd question about some older reels of the New York Times
microfilm.  NYT used to be filmed by the Microfilming Corporation of
America.  You probably have some in your library.  The red boxes with the
black trim?  Anyway, the folks from circulation brought me a box dated
"1968 Nov 9-16-B".  They tell me that that there are 7-8 trays of boxes
with B's at the end of the dates.  We puzzled over this for a few minutes
and couldn't figure out why some boxes have the B and some don't.  Has
anyone else noticed this?  Does anyone know the answer to the mystery?
