Subject: Question: Direct hotlinks to ejrls, with passwords

We're very interested in the experiences of other libraries who have direct
hotlinks from their OPACs to ejournals. We currently have a cumbersome
method of linking from the OPAC to a disclaimer page and then to a list of
ejrls, with specific instructions regarding any needed password/ID. We
are intent on changing this procedure, including doing away with the
disclaimer page, and want to do away with maintaining a separate list of
ejrls. Mina Muesmann from SDSU has presented an interesting solution to
part of this problem.

We are interested in hearing from those of you who provide direct hotlinks
to ejrls which require an ID and password. How do you deal with this
requirement?

Thanks to all-
Sheryl Williams
