The situation differs at this library.  We record about 85 uses per
month on
the film we maintain of the "New York Times".  We would surely miss it.
The
film of the "Wall Street Journal" is, however, of little interest to our
patrons, seeing fewer than one use per month.  We have a constituency
(students, professors, &c) of about 3,000.  IW

We cancelled our New York Times microfilm subscription several years
ago,
and have
never missed it.  The microfilm format was never popular with our
patrons,
and we've had
no reference questions that couldn't be amply answered without using
that
source.
