Position Announcements: University of Connecticut: Team Leaders for Acquisitions, Cataloging, Database Management, and Serials & Federal Documents Lynn Cote 26 Oct 2001 18:55 UTC

Recent organizational restructuring in the Collections Services Area of
the University of Connecticut Libraries (by the way, a great place to
work) has resulted in the creation of 7 teams, each with a permanent team
leader. Team Leaders report directly to the Area Head for Collections
Services and provide supervision and leadership for the Acquisitions,
Cataloging, Collection Development, Database Management, Preservation,
Serials & Federal Documents, and Stacks Management Teams (also, by the
way, a really great group of people).

We are searching for 4 knowledgeable, forward-thinking, and energetic Team
Leaders to provide vision and direction for new and continuing initiatives
for the Acquisitions, Cataloging, Database Management, and Serials &
Federal Documents Teams. Full job descriptions can be found at:
http://www.lib.uconn.edu/jobopps/

Please pass this note along to interested colleagues. (By the way, did I
mention that this is a great place to work and a really great group of
people to work with?). Our location is bucolic, but we are 1.5 hrs. to
either Boston or NYC. The pay is decent, the public school system is
excellent, and we have a pretty darn good women's basketball team.

The University of Connecticut Libraries is a dynamic organization and
offers creative, service-oriented individuals and exceptional opportunity
for personal growth and learning. Please think about joining us.

Thanks.
