ACRL/NEC ITIG Meeting, October 5, managing e-serials <fwd>

ACRL/New England Chapter's Information Technology Interest Group (ITIG) is
going to meet for informal, focused discussion on managing electronic
serials.
Date: Friday, October 5, 2001
Time: 9:45 - 12:00 pm
Location: Forten Hall (4th floor), Library, Salem State College

Parking: Please park at Central Campus (see map above). You will need to
give yourself a few extra minutes to either walk or take the shuttle bus
to the library (about 1/4 mile away) and get a parking permit from the
Campus Security which is right off the parking lot at Central Campus.
This meeting will feature three librarians who all manage their electronic
serials collections in different ways.
Olga Verbeek - Salve Regina University, home grown database of electronic
serials using Cold Fusion.
Elizabeth Thomsen - NOBLE Library Consortium, integrated electronic
serials into the consortium's III catalog system.
Pat Noreau - U. Mass Lowell, Serials Solutions
This meeting is free and doesn't require registration. Seating is limited
to 40 participants, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
