If I can chime in from the monograph side, I'm noticing that Haworth books
seem to be getting skinny while the prices keep going up. Fortunately they
publish many in both paper and cloth (always in some series or other if not
as a "simultaneous" match with a journal issue), but even the paperback
prices sometimes seem high. And, many books don't have illustrations and
the formats look like basic word-processing. At my university our social
sciences faculty continue to love Haworth publications, though, plus,
Haworth does publish in areas that other publishers may leave alone.
How do others of you feel, and do you see anything similar in Haworth
journals?
