I'm new to this but here's how I handle the binding:
1. Print pull slips using a list on our Triple III system
2.Either I or a student go to the shelf and physically pull the issues.
If
a issue is missing, it's noted on the pull slip,a note is put in the
periodical's record, and the put on our "incomplete shelf"
3.Input the information into LARS. We have special printer paper here
with
a seam in the middle separating the paper into two parts (provided by
the
bindery, of course). We got rid of the carbon copy paper, so both parts
of
the paper are separated and put in to the book-we get one back with the
book.
4. Send via FTP
5. Print the Job reports
If any of this is confusing then my apologies. I'm still trying to get
everything down pat, and might not have the terminology right yet. Hope
this helps though.
