Subject: Ebscohost holdings statements

I am the local administrator for Ebscohost at my library.  We are trying to
find appropriate, concise holdings statements.  Ebsco offers two alternative
holdings statements, basically "yes" or "no."  These statements can be fine
tuned locally. At first we chose the following:  1) (yes) This library
subscribes to this periodical title and 2) (no) Not part of the collection
at this library.  However, these don't really cover all the possibilities.
Neither of these statements addresses a title that has ceased or been
cancelled, but we still retain the back issues.  When we chose these
statements, we were thinking of print and micro editions.  We weren't
considering titles that we offer online through Jstor and others or the full
text titles available through Ebscohost itself. Of course, that information
should be there. Ideally, I would like to see Ebsco offer more than two
options. Meanwhile, has any one crafted two statements that cover all the
options?  Thanks for your input.
