Does anybody subscribe to the journal "New Jersey Reporter" and if so have
you noticed the incredible inconsistency in their volume and issue numbers.
Going back from the most recent issue I have V.30 #5 (Feb/Mar 2001); Vol 29
#11 (N 2000); Vol 30 #1 (O 2000); Vol 29 #11 (Sept 2000). Inconsistancies
continue as you go back.

I called up the publisher and asked about this and the woman I talked to
said to just go by the month and year and ignor the issue number.  Is this
acceptable practice?  How are other librarians dealing with this?
