When we started getting online indexes several years ago, we cancelled
the
print indexes for all but Readers Guide and saved about $9,000. Two
years
later we agreed that students wanted to use only online indexes, so we
also
cancelled Readers Guide. At our university we believe we can afford
only
one format for most indexes or serials.
