Faxon was the same way (1 big invoice and then "updates" throughout the
year). I am assuming that most agents are like that because their
pricing
is dependent on publishers' prices and they probably do not get that

I've seen EBSCO mentioned several times as well as comments about the
supplemental invoices that come during the year. However, I haven't
seen
any mention of EBSCO's optional guaranteed rate program. An additional
percentage is added to your service charge. The "...fee for this
service
protects you against price increases that occur after your main invoice
is
generated." Unfortunately, EBSCO's website lists nothing about this
program. I guess you'd just have to ask your representative.

EBSCO does send one big invoice, then individual ones throughout the
year for each individual title increase or change, and the orginal
invoice is almost never what we end up paying for the year.
