I am doing a survey to determine the usefulness or aggravation of
e-journal services offered by different vendors, such as EBSCO Online,
Swetsnet Navigator or Information Quest.
Some of the items I am wondering about are:
1. How much time do you spend on maintenance
2. Are you spending a lot of time troubleshooting problems
3. Responsiveness of the vendor in setting up or handling problems with
the services
4. Types of problems encountered
5. Are you notified of changes to the system
6. Is the information up to date
7. Strengths and weaknesses of the system
8. Would this type of service sway your decision in picking a vendor
9. Other comments
Please respond to me and not to the entire listserv. I will offer a
summary of all of the responses received. We are trying to figure out
if our situation is unique or if problems happen across-the-board.
Thank you in advance for your assistance,
Emily
