Good morning

Today, we received a letter from Monika M. Silz at Wiley-VCH
regarding the binding of Angewandte Chemie. She is suggesting that
the two new journals bound in with Angewandte Chemie (ChemBioChem and
ChemPhysChem) be separated out and bound as two separate titles.
They did this same scenario a few years ago with Chemistry - A
European Journal which is now sold separately.

We did remove Chemistry from the 'parent' title and bind separately
for the three years it was part of Angewandte Chemie but  our
budget prevents us from purchasing new titles. I emailed her with my
concerns that the same scenario would occur with these two titles.
It is the only periodical that we receive that undertakes this
questionable sales technique.
