E-journal access survey Bao-Chu Chang 21 Sep 2000 20:00 UTC

[Please excuse cross-posting to various lists.]

The members of the Committee on Subject and Bibliographic Access to
Science & Technology Materials, a committee of the Science and
Technology Section of the Association of College & Research Libraries,
invite your responses to a survey regarding the efficacy of various
modes of access to electronic journals in science and technology.
This survey is directed at librarians with reference responsibilities
in any college or university library that provides access to sci/tech
e-journals; it may include staff with responsibilities in both public
and technical services.

The questionnaire is in HTML format. It is available at:
http://www.mines.edu/library/forms/questionnaire.html and should take
about 10-15 minutes to complete. No identifying personal or
institutional information will be attached to your response.

We appreciate your participation! Please feel free to distribute
this e-mail to colleagues; since the survey asks for the respondent's
personal reaction to various types of access to e-journals, more than
one response per institution is acceptable.

We ask for responses no later than October 1, 2000.

Thank you for your assistance--
