Reminder--In memory of Crystal Graham Christa Easton 06 Sep 2000 21:02 UTC

____REMINDER_______

This message has been cross-posted. Please excuse the
duplication.

Crystal Graham, 47, a librarian at the University of
California, San Diego (UCSD), passed away on Thursday,
August 10, 2000. Crystal made impressive intellectual
contributions to the profession, including her recent work
on the development of AACR.

As news has spread to the listservs, there has been a
heartfelt response. To remember Crystal as a person as
well as a major contributor to the library profession, I am
writing to encourage any of you who knew her to share brief
memories, stories, and anecdotes of her. I will compile
these contributions for the December, 2000 NASIG
Newsletter.

I am already received many warm and moving memories from
those who knew Crystal. In addition, I received a request
from Neil Stuart, Crystal's husband, for copies for himself
and her parents so that they can share your memories. I
encourage you to write and share your memories--there is no
word minimum, a few sentences are welcome.

Please send your contributions to me by September 18 at:
