Subject: Another 856 Question
I am appealing to the collective wisdom of the group for
another 856 question.
I've been asked to provide multiple links to journals which are
in electronic format when this is relevant. People would like
to see different links to, e.g., the front page of the journal,
that journal's current issue, that journal's archives, etc.
I've proposed using multiple 856 fields, and using the subfield 3
to indicate which page will be retrieved. My question is:
Is there standard terminology used in that subfield? Or is it free-form,
and we'll just decide for ourselves what word or phrase to use?
Or, are there other subfields, or other ways to do this?
Thanks in advance!!!
