Hi All...
A couple of folks recently have commented about mysteriously
receiving "free" titles from EBSCO. Our library also received ESPN,
YM and Michigan Outdoors in fulfillment of ceased titles. Realizing
that we didn't really want these titles, as they didn't fit our
curriculum, I
called our rep and asked her to cancel the "gifts." The tricky part is
that there is a number on the front of the original postcard that comes
to your library announcing the "gift." It is much easier for the rep to
trace back and cancel the subscription with that number. But I s'pose
that the talented ones can found them anyway.
P.S. As far as I can remember, when I inquired they really did say
that they were a gift!
We have had good luck with getting these cancelled.
Regards,
Diane Dustin
