Matchmaker, Matchmaker: Creative Librarians Streamlining Acquisitions
Using Vendor Services and Systems

Program Description:

How do you creatively and efficiently use online vendor services which
overlap with an integrated library system? In this session, an
acquisitions
librarian, collection development manager, and systems librarian share
their experiences with different collection manager services.

Topics will include:

           *  Factors leading to experimentation.
           *  Strategies for discovering creative solutions.
           *  Coping with organizational and technological change.
           *  Benefits and tradeoffs of new approaches.
