Thanks to all of you who have offered suggestions.  I apologize, I was
more or less venting.  We deal with a vendor and they are very good
about helping us with the claims.  It just struck me that this was
something that someone had not thought through.

As I say, I'm venting.  I appreciate that people took the time to write,
but let's end it here.
