Attn.: Institutional Subscribers to KABBALAH : JOURNAL FOR THE STUDY OF
JEWISH MYSTICAL TEXTS

Just in case any of the rest of you have had as much trouble as I
securing issues of KABBALAH : JOURNAL FOR THE STUDY OF JEWISH MYSTICAL
TEXTS, here is the word from Garland Wilson of Cherub Press (who just took
over the job about two months ago):

        Cherub Press
        10736 Jefferson Blvd. #518
        Culver City, CA 90230

        Tel.: 310 839 2329
        Fax.: 310 839 2354
        E-mail: abrams@shi.org.il

Mr. Wilson tells me that the reason I haven't been (or, rather, wasn't)
able to get a telephone number via directory assistance is probably the
following: Cherub Press is tucked away in the offices of Glenview
Pathology Medical Group, with which Daniel Abrams' father is in some way
associated (!).

Vols. 4 and 5 were quite literally "shipped" from Israel about
five weeks ago, and will therefore be available for re-shipment to
individual subscribers in about two weeks.

N.B.: the practice of Mr. Wilson's predecessor was to RETURN all
prepayments. AS A CONSEQUENCE, STANDING ORDERS MAY VERY WELL NOT HAVE
BEEN PROPERLY RECORDED. Mine certainly wasn't. (And I didn't even get
back my prepayment!) So those of you who list holdings through vol. 2 (as
does, for example, Harvard's OPAC), and yearn for more, should probably
pick up the phone.

Fortunately for me, the faculty here has decided to discontinue
this subscription upon the arrival of vol. 4. For the rest of you, I
sincerely feel!

Best wishes,

Steve Perisho
