It seems to me that we, as consumers, can send a strong message to
publishers (some of whom, who publish journals are so irresponsible and
un-business-like that they defy wildest description!) by not renewing
publications which fail to meet their contracts ... that is, after all, what
a subscription is, isn't it??

I'm so disgusted with this publication I'm recommending that we not
renew it.

As far as the possible title change, you will notice a tiny little
circle on the lower right hand corner saying 'applause' so maybe that
still counts.

We get it only hit or miss - mostly miss - We got #530 in Feb '99 then
nothing dispite repeated claims until yesterday when we got #534 Feb/Mar
2000 and a promise to extend the subscription 2 issues for those missed!

Hi.  I too am confused about Plays & Players.  My confusion goes back
farther than yours.  I did not receive issues no.531 & no.532.  Would you
be so kind as to tell me what months these two issues are and are they
Plays & Players Applause or Plays & Players.  I need to write the company
and as confused as they are I feel I need as information as possible ahead
of time.

Meanwhile I will let you know what or if anything is decided here on a
title change.
