There are still a small number of openings left for this two day
workshop/preconference to the Vermont Library Conference.  If you are

              COOPERATIVE TRAINING PROGRAM WORKSHOP

The CONSER Basic Serials Cataloging Workshop will be offered at the
Bailey/Howe Library, University of Vermont, Burlington Monday & Tuesday,
May 22 & 23, 2000, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (both days)

Developed for the Serials Cataloging Cooperative Training Program (SCCTP)
under the auspices of the CONSER (Cooperative Online SERials) Program at
the Library of Congress, this 2-day workshop is oriented toward new or
beginning serials catalogers or general catalogers working with various
formats without specialized training for handling serials. Instruction for
cataloging both print and electronic serials will be included. For

The workshop is sponsored by the University of Vermont Libraries and by

Registration:  $50 US$ / $65 CDN$ for both days, includes training manual,
continental breakfast and buffet lunch.
