I finally took a look at Comments on modern physics & would like to know
what other libraries are doing. We also received only one of the original
titles. The separately published titles that are keeping the old ISSN's
with new numbering duplicate the content & page numbering of individual
sections of the overall Comments on Modern Physics. The titles for Parts C
& E have been flipped, just to help add to the confusion.

It would appear that the CONSER records for sections A-E will need to be
reopened with new linking notes on all of them. I hate to think how the
citations for these different versions will be done.

I don't quite understand why, if we are subscribed to the whole Comments on
Modern Physics, we need the separate parts. Are other libraries actually
planning to catalog & keep the titles in both versions? We don't have the
space. Is anyone contacting the publisher & asking them not to send the
individual parts?
