Subject: Lighting issues

Thanks to everyone who responded to my request for information about
library lighting.  I now have some excellent resources to help with
planning the new lights.  It seems as though the bid from the lowest bidder
did not address different lighting levels in different areas of the
building, and our physical plant people who put out the bid didn't ask for
it, either.  We had engineers all over the building over the weekend and
now are waiting to see what will happen.  I've passed on my sources and am
hoping for a good response.  Thanks again to everyone.
