SOLINET is sponsoring two Basic Serials Cataloging workshops
developed under the auspices of CONSER's Serials Cataloging
Cooperative Training Program. The course is designed for those
new to serials: beginning serials catalogers and
technicians, and monograph catalogers working with serials. Topics
covered will include what is a serial, copy and original cataloging of
serials, and electronic serials.

Workshops will be held Mar. 8-9 in Nashville TN at David Lipscomb
University and Mar. 23-24 in Atlanta GA  at SOLINET. Trainers will be
Cecilia Leathem, Head, Serials Cataloging, University of Miami, and Ann
Ercelawn, serials cataloger, Vanderbilt University.
