Kabbalah: journal for the study of Jewish mystical texts 3 (1998)- Stephen Perisho 20 Jan 2000 18:16 UTC

Just in case any of you out there have been wondering about
Kabbalah: Journal for the Study of Jewish Mystical Texts, and have been
unable to raise Cherub Press, I'm passing this (from one of its two editors)
along. (For example, the last time I checked, Harvard, too, like the
library here, had only vols. 1 and 2. But according to Dr. Abrams, vol. 5
(2000) is now available.)

Dear Mr Perisho

Thank you for your inquiry concerning Kabbalah: Journal for the Study of
Jewish Mystical Texts. Your email was forwarded to me by Dr. Avraham
Elqayam. I apologize for the confusion and do not understand why your
faxes were not answered. I will look into it personally. As for the status
of the journal and Cherub Press, I happy to say that there are ten volumes
now available of the book series and the journal and three new volumes
will be available around April. A new catalog will be mailed out *when*
the volumes are ready for distribution. The new volumes include Kabbalah 4
(1999) Kabbalah 5 (2000) and a monograph in English on the Kabbalah of
Abraham Abulafia by Elliot Wolfson. I am sending as an attached file in
PDF format (viewable in Adobe Acrobat Reader) the catalog that will be
sent by regular mail at that time. [editor's note: this file was not
successfully transmitted ; there is no attachment to this SERIALST
message. -bml /serialst moderator]
Advance purchase orders from libraries and standing orders are always
welcome. If you have any questions or if I can be of any help please write
me at this email address. Again, I apologize for the confusion.

Sincerely
Daniel Abrams <<cherub2000.zip>>
