Hi Lorrella,

If you subscribe to an online database such as Lexis Nexis or Dow Jones or
Dialog. You can set searches for Current Awareness' in my previous job in
a corporate library. The industry changed from a regulated to deregulated
industry and the clients wanted the information almost that moment. I set
up searches that will run daily, weekly, monthly, depend upon your
clients.

My question may be very elementary to most of you so I ask for your
patience and hope you will help me about my problem.

My supervisor told me something about the 'Current Awareness'
Service/Software which we could use to alert our users of the most recent
articles about their area of specialization and she wants me to look into
it. Can somebody enlighten me as to what it is (is it a print subscription,
online, etc.) and where I can get more information about it? She said that
it will be better than photocopying TOC titles requested by our client.

Thank you very much for any help you can extend to me.

Regards,
