Date: Tuesday, February 9, 2021 Rescheduled Date: Wednesday, May 19, 2021

All webinars are one hour in length and begin at 11 am Pacific, noon Mountain, 1 pm Central, and 2 pm Eastern time.

Description: How can we ensure our teams are successful, effective, purposeful and resilient? How can we encourage trust and engagement in our team interactions? In this session, participants will be asked to broadly consider how they define teams within their libraries and will be introduced to the factors that make teams successful, strong, effective and resilient. Participants will learn how to support trust and vulnerability among team members, communicate effectively and reach team consensus, and recognize and celebrate team successes and failures.

Learning outcomes:

At the end of this webinar, the attendees will be able to:

  • Identify the characteristics of successful teams.

  • Articulate the positive impacts of a strengths-focused approach to managing teams and collaborations.

  • Apply communication, consensus and recognition strategies to support effective team engagement
