Description: Through the lens of a six-week project, this webinar will offer tactics and materials for short-term project management. Over the course of six weeks in early 2019, the Georgetown library developed best practices, an
assessment rubric, and an internal communications plan to update their approach to online chat service. This webinar will highlight their approach, including the project plan, calendar, and project response/next steps. Attendees will leave with concrete ideas
and templates to run their own six-week projects.
About the Presenter:
Topher Lawton is a project manager, technologist, and librarian based in Washington, DC. He has spearheaded projects for various academic and public libraries, and works most often at the confluence of technology, assessment & data, and
library public services. In addition to his day job, Topher has written for Hack Library School, served on the executive board of LITA (the technology division of ALA), and is a musician, runner, and board game nerd.
Can't make it to the live show? That's okay. The session will be recorded and available on the
