In early April, the FOLIO project released the Fameflower version of the platform. In this forum, you will hear an update on the development roadmap from Harry Kaplanian along with projections on development in functional areas. Kelly Drake will then lead
a demo and discussion of the new Course Reserves application, it’s integration withVuFind and EBSCO Discovery System, and an overview of the FOLIO app development process for concise feature requests.
The Course Reserve app provides fully featured Course Reserve functionality including the ability to create Course and Cross-listed Course records, associate the Course with Terms and Instructors, and reserve both physical and electronic items to the Course.
Additionally, course and reserve item information from the Courses app is available to patrons through the library’s Discovery layer. Both VuFind and EBSCO’s EDS integration will be demonstrated.
