Examination of Quality and Change in Subject Metadata

Dr. Oksana Zavalina, Associate Professor, University of North Texas College of Information

 

 Dr. Zavalina will discuss the role of subject metadata and its quality in facilitating access to information and summarize recent research related to subject metadata conducted by the team of faculty, librarians, and students, at the University of North Texas. Presentation will cover subject metadata in catalogs of traditional libraries and in digital library databases.
