The ALCTS Collection Management and Electronic Resources Interest Group (CMERIG) is seeking a volunteer to serve as Vice-Chair (2019-20) / Chair (2020-21). Created in 1991 under the auspices of the Collection Management Section, CMERIG addresses issues related to collection management and development of electronic resources, their funding, and selection. Vice-Chair / Chair-Elect: This position serves a two-year term, as Vice-Chair from July 2019 to June 2020 (the close of the ALA Annual 2020 Conference), and as Chair from July 2020 to June 2021 (the close of the ALA Annual 2021 Conference).

 

Responsibilities include planning and facilitating a conference session at ALA Midwinter and ALA Annual Conferences. Annual and Midwinter conference attendance is strongly encouraged.
