University of Portland: Head of Collection Services position open

 

The University of Portland, Clark Library, with its collaborative environment and commitment to excellent service, seeks a dynamic, creative librarian to lead its Collection Services program, including management of the Cataloging and Digital Services sections and oversight of collection development activities. Departmental activities include cataloging, digital services, electronic resources, database maintenance, acquisitions, processing, serials management, and systems. 

 

The successful candidate must have demonstrated education and skills appropriate to the position including strong communication skills, management/leadership experience and knowledge of systems, standards, and best practices in Collection Development and Technical Services.
