Hi Leah,
Thanks for responding.
Yes, I was talking about the SuperUser” setting. We tried it, but were unable to get it working properly. Could you walk me through how you set this service up for your library? And the sequence of steps undertaken
by staff once a request for an article is received? We could not get this to work at all, in spite of a multitude of emails and phone calls between Wiley and the library.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Brenda,
By unmediated, do you mean the “SuperUser” setting? Not necessarily a success for us, but this is what we use in lieu of burning through tokens too quickly via the unmediated setting. There used to be a more in between setting that we
used most of the time, that allowed users to “spend” our purchased tokens themselves if they were logged in to their personal Wiley account. With that, and with the SuperUser setting, we change to the unmediated access a month or two before our tokens are
due to expire so we don’t lose any.
I’ve considered adding notes (i.e. “please contact library staff for access”) to our A to Z list for unsubscribed titles, but know that many of our users come in through google, etc. so am not sure how effective it would be.

Subject: [SERIALST] Wiley's Article Select pay per view service
Hello Everyone,
My college library has twice attempted to use Wiley’s Article Select service for e-journal access. We attempted a mediated service first, then unmediated. The mediated service was problematic from inception, the unmediated service was completely
depleted within one month. I would love to hear if anyone has had any success in using Wiley’s
mediated Article Select service.
Thanks,
