The Gordon Library at WPI is seeking an Associate Director to lead our new Impact & Innovation department and realize an integrative vision for achieving positive impact on learning
and research through library innovation and assessment. Leading a team of diverse professionals, including eight librarians and one staff associate, the Associate Director will lead and coordinate a program of services that bring together high quality information
literacy instruction, with expert selection, delivery, and discovery services for scholarly, cultural, and archival resources and services. The department also coordinates library support for WPI’s distinctive strength as a global leader in project-based learning,
engaging in continuous assessment and innovation to enhance the library’s impacts on WPI’s strategic goals and mission.

Librarian for Digital Impact & Innovation

The Gordon Library at WPI is seeking a Librarian for Digital Impact & Innovation to join our new Impact & Innovation department, and help us realize an integrative vision for achieving
positive impact on learning and research through library innovation and assessment. As a member of a team of diverse and expert professionals, the Librarian for Digital Impact & Innovation will have a unique opportunity to blend technical skills, user-focused
assessment, and innovations in digital scholarship. Their principle responsibilities will include maintaining and enhancing the library’s discovery strategies across multiple web-based platforms, supporting and advising on library metadata strategies and services
that assure discoverability of library content and services; and supporting excellence in user experiences of the library’s systems and web site. In collaboration with library research and instruction services, they will also have the opportunity to participate
in providing direct consultative or instructional support to students and faculty, with an emphasis on supporting emerging digital scholarship.
