WEB SERVICES LIBRARIAN: Tenure-track, assistant professor, 12-month position.
Sam Houston State University library is looking for a user-oriented, innovative, and dynamic librarian to coordinate the
planning, design, maintenance, and evaluation of the library’s web presence to improve user experience, and ensure reliable operation of the library’s web content. This position is expected to teach library information and research
classes to both undergraduate and graduate students, provide some reference services, and participate in the development of the library’s instruction program.
SHSU’s campus of over 20,000 students is located 50 minutes north of Houston in Huntsville, Texas.
A degree from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited master’s program is required; experience with the creation or management of a website is desired.
Minimum salary of $47,000, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
