The Ohio Valley Group of Technical Services Librarians is pleased to offer

to attend its 2017 Annual Conference - Technical Services by Design. Scholarships cover full conference registration and lodging for two nights (May 21st and 22nd) with conference accommodations on Xavier University’s campus.

Library Student Scholarships

The Ohio Valley Group of Technical Services Librarians is pleased to offer a maximum of three student scholarships to attend its 2017 Annual Conference - Technical Services by Design. Scholarships cover conference registration and lodging for two nights (May 21st and 22nd) with conference accommodations on Xavier University’s campus.

Any full or part-time student enrolled in either on-campus or distance learning courses at an ALA-accredited library and information science school in Indiana, Kentucky or Ohio as of Spring 2017 (including those graduating in Spring 2017) is eligible to apply.

Applicants are expected to include a resume and a short statement (around 250 words) summarizing how they would benefit from attending this conference.

Scholarship recipients will be required to submit a brief review of the conference and their experiences, within 30 days of the end of the conference. This review will be published in the post-conference newsletter.

Diversity Scholarship (Library Professionals)

The Ohio Valley Group of Technical Services Librarians is pleased to offer two scholarships to attend its 2017 Annual Conference - Technical Services by Design. Scholarships cover conference registration and lodging for two nights (May 21st and 22nd) with conference accommodations on Xavier University’s campus.

Any full or part-time professional currently employed in the library field is eligible to apply. The Diversity Scholarships will be awarded to library professionals who identify as racial minorities such as Asian, Black/African Americans, Hispanic, Native Americans and others who are traditionally under-represented in libraries. The scholarship covers conference registration and two nights lodging. SWON Library Consortium generously sponsors these scholarships.
