First winter-issue anomaly (second is a different title and will be in a separate e-mail):
For many years, ARTnews has published eleven monthly (combined Summer) issues. Beginning with v. 115 (2016) they are publishing four seasonal issues, but be aware of the year change on number 4. I called and they confirmed that it’s not
a printing error, and will continue that pattern. So: v. 115 is no. 1 (Spring 2016), no. 2 (Summer 2016), no. 3 (Fall 2016, no. 4 (Winter 2017); v. 116 will be no. 1 (Spring 2017), no. 2 (Summer 2017), no. 3 (Fall 2017), no. 4 (Winter 2018). I rather wish
publishers wouldn’t do this because it’s not logical for us or our computer systems, although we can do it. I warned that they might get claims for a Winter 2016 issue even though that doesn’t exist.
