Yes, it’s possible some of your articles won’t have DOI numbers, depending on when and how they were published.

I am helping a professor to locate DOIs for articles listed in reference in an article she is publishing.  There are a few that I cannot find DOIs for.  Is it possible that an article might not have a DOI?
