Melissa Belvadi (University of Prince Edward Island: http://library.upei.ca/people/melissa-belvadi) did a fantastic session on “Do it yourself title overlap comparisons” at the Charleston Conference this past November.  You may want to contact her – she put together a great “how to” presentation along with a “tips and tricks” spreadsheet with formulas!

Subject: [SERIALST] Overlap analysis options

My library does not subscribe to any products with an overlap analysis tool. I would like to review our current resources with the title lists for several databases from different vendors that the library is considering.  Is anyone familiar with any other overlap analysis software or tools or other options?  My thanks for suggestions and discussion. Patty
