I agree with you, except I was told to number them as it is printed inside the publication and since this has gone on for a while…… I am not sure what to do either.

I’m going to assume that whoever is in charge of the numbering (man or machine) has lost their mind. It should go, v.301:no.1/2 (July 6/13, 2015), v.301:no.3/4
(July 20/27, 2015), v.301:no.5/6 (August 3/10, 2015), and v.301:no.7/8 (August 17/24, 2015). At least in my opinion, the volume number should have changed with the first July issue. It’s the next issue that will really blow our minds with numbering, I’m
going to guess.

Yes!!!! I had my customer service rep at Ebsco call Nation today.
The customer service reps at Nation are not given any information …. So helpful. I sent a message to Nation directly off their website.
The title is a mess!

Subject: [SERIALST] numbering at The Nation
I am curious if anyone else is confused by the numeration of the latest issues of “The Nation”? I have had problems with this publisher’s numeration before, but they have moved their game to a new level.
I have received, in succession:
A July 20/27, 2015 issue, marked as volume 300, no. 29. ( I think that is correct)
The next I received was the August 3/10, 2015 issue, marked as volume 301, no. 31 (Ok, given benefit of doubt, a typo…)
Latest issue received was August 17/24, 2015 – marked as volume 301, numbers 7 & 8 (no clue about this one…)
Has anyone gotten any information about how they should be numbered?
Have I fallen into a parallel dimension in which all numeration is completely random, and this is now the way things are numbered?
Please help me understand…
