The University of South Florida, Tampa, seeks a creative, collaborative and enthusiastic Metadata Librarian to create and administer traditional and non-traditional
metadata for library collections in all formats. The metadata librarian provides leadership, training and oversight in the application of metadata standards and best practices. The metadata librarian trains staff, including student assistants, in an assortment
of metadata-related tasks library wide, and collaborates with others to implement quality control of metadata within the online catalog, discovery tool, institutional repository, and digital initiatives.
This is a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure earning faculty appointment at the Librarian, Associate or Assistant Librarian/Librarian rank; reporting to the Director for Academic Resources. ALA-accredited
